This paper proposes second‐generation current conveyors (CCII's) for low supply voltage operation. The power consumption of the proposed circuits is much lower than that of a conventional circuit. A method for reducing the effect caused by channel‐length modulation is also proposed. Simulation confirms several advantages of the proposed circuits. © 2001 Scripta Technica, Electr Eng Jpn, 138(2): 41–48, 2002
