1. Photocopy the word card reproducible onto heavy paper or cardstock. 2. Prepare at least ten complete sets of cards. (The number of sets can vary, depending on the number and skill level of the players.) Each set should contain one root word and two derivatives. For example, if one card contains the root word work, the other two cards that would complete the set might be rework and workable. Practice the key skill of identifying roots and their derivatives.
