“They don't teach us in grad school what to do when embroiled in a controversy or litigation,” said Jason A. Laker, Ph.D., Professor in the Department of Counselor Education at San Jose State University, where he previously served as VP of Student Affairs. “My story is one of a whistleblower. There will be times in the course of your work that you will witness something you weren't looking for necessarily, and you have some decisions to make,” he said.
