The size of a campus such as the University of Alabama's can prove daunting for students with autism spectrum disorder, so the university in 2006 launched the ASD College Transition and Support Program to ease the process of adjusting to college. Program Director Megan Davis, Ph.D., discussed program features that help students with ASD build self‐advocacy, daily living, and social interaction skills.
