As a disability services provider, you more often view yourself as an advocate and maybe not so often as a leader. Yet others probably do view you as a leader. For example, you are the leader and go‐to person for students with disabilities to request access and the leader and go‐to person for your colleagues who work in your office. You are also the leader and go‐to person for faculty members and administrators who may have questions about ensuring this access and implementing accommodations. Ultimately, you are also a leader in promoting and upholding the rights for all individuals with disabilities in your community and perhaps even on a larger scale than your community.
