From institutional websites to learning management systems to consumer electronics used to enhance learning, technology is a necessary fact of daily life for college students today. Unfortunately, not all such technology is accessible to those with disabilities. And when the students your unit serves encounter technological access barriers, they may run to you for help, requiring you to drop everything to figure out how to provide them with equal access. Perhaps worse, they may feel as if your institution simply doesn't care about their needs.
