A case of histologically and ultrastructurally confirmed carcinoid tumor of the renal pelvis is reported. the patient's urine sediment showed a few groups and sheets of polygonal malignant cells with scant cytoplasm and oval nuclei displaying chromatin clumping and micronucleoli. © 1995 Willey‐ Liss, Inc.
