Demands for higher quality and a deep‐seated drive for social justice fuel the efforts of Mildred Lewis, Ed.D., as Dean of Enrollment Services at Laney College in Oakland, Calif. The community college has taken a more strategic approach to enrollment management over the past four years, making sure prospective and incoming students have the tools necessary to know that Laney is a fit and that their journey will go smoothly when they get there.
