As a young woman from the projects arriving on a college campus with all her belongings in just “two trash bags and a trunk,” Tyjaun Lee couldn't have imagined herself as a college graduate who would go on to earn her master's degree and then her Ph.D. while working her way up through the ranks in student affairs and eventually becoming a college president. But that's indeed what she did. And it certainly took much determination and sacrifice along the way.
