In the fall semester of 2015, a group of students at the University of Missouri blocked then‐President Tim Wolfe's car during a homecoming parade. They were protesting what they believed to be a (non)response to reported incidents of racism on campus. Ten days later, students sent a list of eight demands to the President's Office, including an increase in black personnel at the university, a hand‐written apology and resignation from Wolfe, and more staff for social justice centers on campus.
