I am a staunch believer in the Second Amendment, a member of the National Rifle Association, and I have a carry permit, but I still think campus carry laws are poor public policy. In the United States, “campus carry” refers to the possession of firearms on college or university campuses. It seems legislators do not care what people who actually work on campuses think. As usual, they are more interested in the lobbyists who care only about the theory of carrying guns on campus, or perhaps, about getting re‐elected.
