Over the past eight years, community colleges have enjoyed a renaissance, said Rufus Glasper, president and chief executive officer for the League for Innovation in the Community College and chancellor emeritus of the Maricopa Community Colleges in Arizona. They have gotten support at the federal level, and funding has been made available to help with completion initiatives.
