When I showed up at my first vice president job six years ago, I was delighted to find out I had my own parking place. I hadn't expected it. Actually I was more than delighted; I was knocked over the moon. Do you know how valuable a parking place is on a college campus? I'm sure you do. The only person I'd ever known who'd been privileged enough to have his own spot was the president. Woo hoo! Woo hoo! I had arrived.
