WASHINGTON, D.C. — If your institution doesn't already offer competency‐based programs, they might be coming soon. In September 2012, there were about 20 of these programs offered, said Alison Kadlec, senior vice president and director of higher education and workforce programs for Public Agenda. Currently, at least 200 programs are available.
