Fixings with injection anchors are post‐installed chemical fastenings, which are generally described as bonded anchors. For bonded anchors in masonry, only injection systems are approved, since safe application of capsule systems cannot be guaranteed due to the presence of cavities in the masonry, for example due to joints, grip holes or the use of perforated blocks. The present article collects the current state of knowledge and describes the usual “engineeering” approaches.
