Abstract For the design of the Wasser‐ und Schifffahrtsamt (Water and shippoing office) in Kiel, pbr have won the “Iconic Award”, an international architectural and design prize. The “Iconic Award” honours visionary architects, innovative products and sustainable communication from all branches of architecture, building and property. The new building convinced the jury since it not only supplements the existing building but sets a characteristic aspect for the current epoch and with its brick clinker facade, but still fits into the surroundings (see page 363).
