OMIP‐045: Characterizing human head and neck tumors and cancer cell lines with mass cytometry

To optimize OMIP‐045, cancer cell lines and a HNSCC tumor were processed into a single cell suspension and stained with the protocol outlined. Cells were then aspired through the mass cytometer and the metal detected on each cell was quantified (single cell mass response). Target expression was first tested on a mixture of cancer cell lines known to either express or not the marker of interest, and then on human tumor cells.
