Abstract On the cover: Flow cytometry is of high importance in cancer research, therapy optimization, and individualized diagnosis. It helps to unravel novel signaling cascades among other functions. The authors examine, for example, how cyclopamine modulates ABC transporters expressed in stem cells, indicating the role those transporters play in preserving and protecting stem cells from outside forces(such as oxysterols).
