A field of Brassica napus , also known as rapeseed or canola, wafting silently beneath a cloudless sky waiting to be harvested. Its DNA helices are also shown, representing a complementary wealth of information waiting to be harvested, perhaps using the high‐throughput flow cytometric method presented by Cousin et al. on page 1015 in this issue.
