Kinetics of plasma flow in tokamak SOL plasma recycling region for large ratio of Coulomb mean free path, λ T , to neutral recycling length, L N , is considered. Such regimes are quite typical for both current tokamaks and ITER‐like reactor conditions and can not be treated by fluid approximation.
