We have investigated plasma resistivity in a detached recombining plasma (DRP) by using a modified double probe theory, in which the influence of the plasma resistivity on the current‐voltage characteristics of the double probe, is taken into account. The plasma resistivity in DRP, obtained by comparing between the modified double probe theory and experimental results in the linear plasma device NAGDIS‐II, is much larger than both Spitzer resistivity and plasma resistivity caused by electron‐neutral collision including Rydberg atom's effect.
