The resonant interaction between three waves propagating perpendicularly to an external magnetic field in a plasma is considered. We present the explicit expressions for the three wave coupling coefficients of a warm multi‐component plasma. The results of previous work on the generation of THz radiation by laser plasma interaction are significantly improved. (© 2014 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
