Simulation on the control of the ion current oscillation is performed by introducing the effect of the Xe ion transport in plasmas produced in the channel of Hall thrusters. Numerical results are in good agreement with the preceded experimental observations. It is shown for the first time that the ion current becomes stable and the thrust efficiency is improved when the ion mobility and the cross sectional area decrease.
