A generalization of Kubo's linear response theory to Zubarev‐Mc Lennan initial state is presented. In this framework the transport coefficients of nonideal plasmas are derived in the linear‐field limit. The formalism allows for the incorporation of conservation laws and the correct solution of the screening problem. Special characteristics of dilute systems are discussed.
