The behaviour of a LORENTZ plasma in a spatially homogeneous rotating magnetic field, a constant magnetic field parallel to the rotation axis, the induced electric field and an external alternating electric field (of the same frequency) is treated within the framework of kinetic theory. The Boltzmann equation with collision integral is solved using a Fourier expansion. The tensors of electrical conductivity, diffusion and thermal diffusion are calculated and then discussed by means of the Onsager‐Casimir reciprocity relations and the Kronig‐Krameks relations. A generalized version of the Kronig‐Kramers relations is given. Finally, the case of a spatially rotating magnetic field with arbitrarily space dependent phase (helical field) is treated.
