In this paper we study the dynamic behaviour of delayed cellular neural networks (DCNNs). By means of a rigorous eigenvalue and eigenvector analysis and by numerical simulations we show that simple DCNNs composed of only two cells can exhibit a large variety of dynamic phenomena: stable and unstable closed orbits and chaotic attractors.
