A new design formula for the Multiple Frequency Notch Filter is proposed. The filter can be constructed from a finite set of identical linear sections with arbitrary transfer functions. The general transversal structure and the cascade connection of the identical linear section are considered. In contrast to the general structure, there are found three configurations which have only one adjustable element. An example illustrating the use of the proposed technique is included.
