It is shown that a parametric representation for Brune functions can be given which, although being more complicated than for Foster functions, is simple enough to be of practical interest. This holds in particular if use is made of substantial simplifications obtainable by eliminating certain subclasses of Brune functions which are of no practical interest. Applications to broadband matching and switched networks are pointed out.
