This paper presents a systematic procedure for evaluating the sensitivity of the transfer function magnitude, and hence the transmission deviation in decibels, for high‐order active filters. The procedure applies for filters having any arbitrary structure of coupled biquadratic sections. The method is illustrated by carrying out a comparative analysis on a bandpass filter realized by the Cascade, Leap‐Frog and Primary Resonator Block approaches.
