The synthesis of RC active filters composed of a chain of standardized selective functional blocks (SSFB's) is discussed. The rules for the optimal or quasioptimal choice of the SSFB's in the chain which leads to an increase of dynamic ratio and noise suppression are given. The design procedure of the SSFB's having very accurate and temperature stable parameters is described.
