The Cover Feature shows a battery anode together with needle‐like dendrites under strain. Using density functional theory calculations, the influence of strain on the self‐diffusion and other properties of metal anodes is studied. Thus, the question is addressed whether strain can modify the harmful and hazardous growth of dendrites in batteries. More information can be found in the Full Paper by D. Stottmeister and A. Groß on page 3147 in Issue 12, 2020 (DOI: 10.1002/cssc.202000709).
