The Cover Feature shows the copolymerization of biomass‐derived dimethyl 2,5‐furandicarboxylate and 2,5‐bis(hydroxymethyl)furan monomers with aliphatic linear diols, and diacid ethyl esters by using Novozyme 435 as a biocatalyst. The resultant furan‐based copolyesters are thoroughly characterized and compared with their polyester analogs and are found to have high molecular weights up to 35 000 g mol −1 . More information can be found in the Full Paper by Maniar et al. on page 990 in Issue 5, 2019 (DOI: 10.1002/cssc.201802867).
