Borrowing extends opportunities: Borrowing hydrogen (BH) catalysis represents a powerful and environmental alternative to known CC, CN, and CO formation schemes. Recently, two important approaches have been published that extended this methodology to asymmetric catalysis. A short discussion combined with a perspective for the asymmetric BH is presented in this highlight.
