10.1002/crq.3890190208.abs This article focuses on how a community mediation program can be a conduit for social justice. Three complex social issues are addressed: the meaning of justice, the challenge of race relations, and overrepresentation of incarcerated minorities and minority youths who are adjudicated as adults. Examples are given of how one community mediation program has worked with its community on these issues.
