A values mapping process has been used with considerable success in managing land use conflict in the far northwest of Tasmania in Australia. The process involves an extensive recruitment process, facilitated single‐stakeholder and multi‐stakeholder group work, and the use of topographical maps as a focus for the discussion of conflict issues and stakeholder values.
