The electrical degradation and coloration experiments were investigated in Fe‐doped KTa 1‐x Nb x O 3 crystals. The leakage currents of the crystals increase when dc voltages were applied, and a dark region moved from the anode to the cathode. Reversing the electrodes can lead to the dark region move back. The oxygen vacancies and color center defects are considered to play roles in the process.
