Moiré fringes method have been used in order to study the mass transport processes in tetramethoxysilane (TMS) gel in respect of crystal growth experiments. Diffusion coefficients of potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KDP) solution and ethanol in pure and soaked TMS gel have been measured.
