The object of our studies was zeolite NaY and its Zn 2+ ‐, Cd 2+ ‐ and Hg 2+ modifications obtained by ion‐exchange method. Influence of the above cations on the crystalline structure of zeolite type Y and its thermal stability has been shown on the grounds of X‐ray diffraction, differential thermal analysis, and infrared spectroscopic measurements.
