Rubidium p‐nitrosophenolate has been prepared and characterized by means of IR spectroscopy and XPD methods. Differences of dehydration processes of the rubidium salt and relative potassium‐ and sodium p‐nitrosophenolates have been detected by DTA/TG studies and discussed in terms of crystallochemically inequivalent types of water molecules in these salts.
