Ionic conductivity studies have been made on the mixed KBrKI single crystals in the temperature region 150°–650 °C. The log σ versus 1/ T plots indicate four different regions. The activation energies associated with different regions have been calculated and its variation with the composition of the mixed crystals is reported. The results obtained are correlated with the theoretical values calculated using Lidiard theory. An attempt is made to understand the results.
