The interaction between Fe 2 O 3 and TeO 2 by vacuum sintering at various temperature was studied The compounds obtained were identified by means of Mössbauer spectroscopy. The conditions for the synthesis of Fe 2 Te 4 O 11 were found. Some influence of the experimental conditions was established.
