Li 3 B 5 O 8 (OH) 2 crystals were obtained in the system Li 2 OB 2 O 3 H 2 O under hydrothermal conditions at fairly lower PT conditions. The crystals obtained were characterized through various techniques: XRD, wet chemical analysis and the measurement of ionic conductivity.
