Theoretical growth and equilibrium forms of gypsum have been determined by the Fourier transform method. Both are in good agreement with the experimental observations. There are some differences to previous publications which are based on energetic calculations by ionic interaction energies. It is possible to predict five planes of intergrowth. Two of them are wellknown in literature.
