The theoretical Compton scattering profile of the conduction electrons in lithium is calculated for three scattering vectors, taken along the symmetry axes of the Brillouin Zone. Qualitatively, the results are in good agreament with experiment, however, quantitatively, there are some discrepancies which are probably due to correlation effects. It is desirable to have more refined experimental data.
