A procedure has been developed for following structural changes of pure synthetic calcium hydroxyapatite during its demineralization in a hydroxyethylcellulose solution. The procedure consists of demineralization and simultaneous powder diffraction patterns recorded with synchrotron X‐ray radiation. Experimental details will be described.
