The high‐temperature phase of ζ‐Mn 5 Ge 2 has been studied by electron microscopy and electron diffraction. Alloy specimens contain two types of structures with different periodicities along their c direction; one is 3.9 nm and the other 1.3 nm. Domains of these two structures make parallel intergrowth with common α‐ and c axes. Results of the previous X‐ray structure analysis are explained by the mixture of the above two structures.
