[(n—Bu) 4 N] 3 W(CN) 8 is investigated by X‐ray powder and wide‐line proton magnetic resonance methods. The temperature dependences of the lattice parameters and 1 H second moment of the resonance lines are recorded in the range of 77 to 383 K. On ground of the dynamical model proposed for the crystal lattice of the compound an analysis of the experimental data is made. The reorientations of different groups of the cations are proved to be responsible for the observed effects.
