Electrical resistivity and its anisotropy, thermoelectric power and temperature coefficient of resistivity of WSe 2‐ x crystals have been measured (0.01 ≦ x ≦ 0.1) in the temperature range 300–448 K. Variations of these physical properties with respect to temperature and composition have been examined. The observed results are discussed in the light of semiconducting nature of the material.
