The cover shows a sample photograph of a large‐size Y 3 Al 5 O 12 (YAG) laser crystal slab obtained by the optimized polishing process proposed in article number 1800274 by Ruiqing Xie and co‐workers. The authors used a three‐step polishing method combining different abrasives and polishing plate materials and obtained optimum results for Al 2 O 3 abrasive with a composite tin plate. The indentation morphology of the YAG crystal as characterized by a field emission scanning electron microscope is shown bottom right.
