Abstract Al‐doped ZnO diluted magnetic semiconductor with hexagonal wurtzite structure is synthesized by hydrothermal method under 4 T (Tesla) pulsed magnetic field. High‐pulsed magnetic field processing promotes the substitution proportion of Al for Zn sites in ZnO lattice, which the processed sample performs better room temperature ferromagnetism (RTFM). The improvement of RTFM in Al‐doped ZnO is mainly on account of induced F centers in ZnO lattice by increased oxygen vacancies.
